Great post!

Yes, it's true. You don't need to be an architect to appreciate architecture. It's just great. The history. The many disciplines all converging - psychology, construction, design, materials, business, people, behaviour not to mention all those crazy systems soil, electrical, plumbing, mechanics, sound, lighting and on and on...

Phew. Glad I don't have to study all of that! But isn't it cool how they all come together?

Prestige isn't what makes architecture cool. It just is! :)
