I stumbled into a good way of working alongside all aspects of the construction industry, mainly architectural, but all kinds of structural and services disciplines too. Working as a designer with a leading building services industry (vertical circulation in my case) can get you right into the thick of building design from all sorts of directions. This can just as easily be leading large scale projects as well as smaller ones.
