When I was five, my family drove by the Palace of fine arts quite often. All I can remember of it is my brother saying, "There is the dangerous building, Daddy!" So from then on, it has been the Dangerous Building, and nothing else. I am forty six now, and it is still the dangerous building because it has never been approachable. I wonder if it will my lifetime.
