Hmmm, yes, that is an interesting viewpoint about architecture: do we/should we separate the purpose of a building from its artistic/creative presence. Most buildings are built for a functional purpose, but to personify, is it the buildings fault that it was used for such a purpose, and should we now taint it (if it is a building worth appreciating) because of this fact.
