In certain parts of the world a calm place underneath a banyan tree spent with certain respiratory methods would suffice for creating the ambience within the physical body of the person.Architecture could just abet the process but with all the colors and all the acoustics it might still be vulnerable to the chaos within.Architectural religious spaces in most situations (historical)have tried to subdue the human presence so that the overwhelming power of the enclosure designed could take over.We really have to rethink the role of architecture in such places?
