hello Katja, the book you mentioned seems very interesting and I am currently trying to get hold of a copy. As for my own work, I am just beginning research into this topic. Going around a lot of different religious buildings, and I'm trying to link it back to the work I am doing. Something I have noticed, is the reflective nature of religious spaces, and the feeling that we are allowed to be inside our own minds with no fear of the passing of time, or the world outside. The building or other sacred place becomes us, and we are free to navigate as unrestrictedly as we please, without the reality outside confining us. I have found Pietro Belluschi lectures and writing very interesting (thankyou Ralph). So you may find them interesting too, tell me what you think...
