The text for this entry is wrong. The 1936 Jacobs house is not a berm-type residence, the second Jacobs house (in the 40's) is built into a berm.
Also, the Jacobs wrote a book on their experiences. I think it is called "Building with Frank Lloyd Wright." It is an excellent first-hand account of their experiences and is well-illustrated. It is one of the few in-depth books written by Wright clients.
