I am a student in second year architecture. As a person eager to enter the professio, it is worrying because the firms base interviews on a resume that is unsuitable in representing a person's ability or talent. Architecture is still an art! And i don't think galleries ask artists for a resume before they are considered, it is purely based on ability communicated through a portfolio. A lot of students write the same things in their resumes, but in actuality they are all very different. In a profession that is so dependent on graphics and personality, it is disappointing as a student to know that he/she may be misrepresented when the only thing a firm wants is a resume faxed to them.
