And what do you propose as being the single most important submission to a firm that knows knothing about you! Maybe a written essay to the firm explaining to them why they should hire you? No. Remember, a picture (in a portfolio) is worth a thousand words, so send them the work by e-mail or fax work that YOU have done and let them see and decide...its that simple. There are no fixed rules for finding a job, and if you send a firm your portfolio do it, and quit thinking about it any longer.
