We are a group of six working on it from Toronto. Our approach has not been to accommodate for all 12 religions specifically. But we are concentrating on making the space as adaptable as possible. we also picked a concept that we ourselves thought would be at the center of every religion. We think that an interfaith center, once built, is somewhat of a religion on its own. So we did not hesitate towards introducing a new way to approach religious gatherings. If I may give advise (as a student), it would be to have an open mind and to use your own personal intuition and beliefs. i believe that these will create a powerful design (which not every one will agree with), but it will not result in a diluted solution due to the problems with accommodating so many religions. Wish you the best, i hope you change your minds and make the space possible.
