I am a grad of the BAC 96'. The concept the BAC is a great idea. Plan on being in school for at least six years though, when I graduated most people were taking 10 years, but because you are working full time you have a tremendous amount of experence in the end and will be able to work where you want. The BAC grads are probably on a whole more practicle than some other schools, primarly because you really learn how to build building by working everyday, not just theory. Although the studios and thesis programs can be as theoritical as you want. BAC seems to work especially well with people who have prior degrees and are a bit older not just out of high school, people who are serious about what they are doing. Working full time and school full time turns out to be quite a commitment! So if your not up for that then I suggest the University route although look for a school that requires you to work in the real world to get a taste of all sides of architecture!!
