Go to a web site for one of the glass manufacturers like PPG Industries, or Pilkington[LOF]. They will have size criteria and glass types that you can select. Also, check the building code for wind loads on glass areas, etc. which will dictate thickness etc. You are talking about store show windows sized pieces of glass.
