The admissions staff will look at numerous aspects of your work, and every member will have various interests, so its pointless to try to anticipate what they will be interested in. A better strategy is to try to represent as diverse a cross section of your work as possible. Definitely include the prisma-colors, because artistic talent is important. But also anything else you have that might show both your talents AND you interests – don’t be afraid to include drawings, sketches and photographs – if they’re good. No one will expect a high school student to have perfectly detailed construction documents of masonry cavity walls. But they will expect you to be able to present and communicate the range of your talents in a convincing way. The real trick in any pportfolio is to convey no only what you have done, but what you want to do in thr future.
