John,

Great to hear from you. I am quite disgruntled with NCARB. Just this past
year I tried to get registered in Indiana and ran in to a stone wall. I was
told I would have no chance without NCARB licensure. 18 to 20 years ago I
withdrew from NCARB because it did absolutely nothing other than send me a
bill every year and a form to fill in with nebulous information dealing with
percentages of the kinds of work I did thruoghout the year. When I asked to
be reinstated they said only if I make up yearly dues for the last 20 years
- over $2000.
Needless to say - prohibitve especially when I would be paying for a service
that provides absolutely nothing relative to verifying my qualifications to
practice architecture in another state.

I appreciate your effort and would be glad submit any information relative
to my experience. My Ohio registration number - 7310.

Have a great day,

Helmut Kientz, R.A.
