NCARB is the most poorly staffed organization I have ever had to deal with next to the Illinois Dept of Professional Regulation. When I say poor I am alluding to the quality of service and personnel and not the number of employees. For all the fees that I pay and the money I am paying for the exam, you would expect that I could have my questions answered in a timely fashion and that the answers would be correct. I have virtually run in circles because of poor information they have given me on many occasions. I've learned that if the person who answers the phone (if someone answers the phone, doesn't know the answer, they also don't know who at NCARB knows the answer and they simply tell you to look elsewhere. After looking elsewhere you end up right back at NCARB looking for the same info and maybe the 2nd or 3rd time around you get your answer.
NCARB just plain sucks.
