What to do I don't know, but I have experienced lots of times my computer not eating "official" Windows installation CDs due to mere improvements (changed files, usually executables coming from installed programs, or maybe sometimes a download) causing the being attempted to install disk be non valid per outdated, i.e., no way the donwards path per Microsoft, at least not without the knowledge you are asking for.
