i am a newly registered architect on long island and i received a call from a potential client who wants a 2500 s.f. home. he has a "book plan" that he is set on using and has asked me to price with a "square foot" figure. (some number x 2500 s.f.) i have never priced out something in this format. what is a resonable # to use as a multiplier in my area? the house is in hampton bays, long island.
