anyone know of a building famed for its use of reflections, not necessarily with glass, polished metal for instance, and its permeabilty through transparent surfaces ? im thinking of a a visualy permeable surface, so from one side but not so from the other. no suggestions of tinted glass please ! that same threshold would act as a acoustic boundary

any help please ?!?!??!!!!!!
