with even a moderately acceptable contractor, i would assume easily a US$300/sf cost, assuming all city utilities are in place and there are few infrastructure improvements needed. it only goes up from there :) if you are looking for more precise numbers for /sq ft costs in your exact area, try picking up an RS Means estimating catalogue, or go to their web site: they have basic costs plus multiplying factors for differeent areas of the country/cities etc.
