let's see now....major competition for a commercial building in the US....several fascinating and/or adventurous design submissions...and one that proposes so many ordinary office towers plopped around with a load of intellectual-ish hype painted over the submission to conceal the fact that this proposal would be the most economical to construct....gosh, i wonder which submission won...? spare me the trouble, people. and, btw, there are a (very few) very good new buildings under way or finished in the big apple, but you won't find them looking at skyscrapers. architecture with a capital "A" and 'skyscraper' may be found in london and a few german cities, and that's about it
