Does that mean that a 300,000sf highrise office building model will cost $300,000? No way...I find your rule of thumb costs to be exorbitant! Even for your 3000sf house. I have paid in the range of 15 - $20,000 for models over 1m sf. Depends on the level of detail one wants, but never should be priced in the way you stated.
