What about concrete flexible panels fixed on wood or metal structures. I have seen that in skateboard parks around here (Montreal, Canada). I think it could be relatively light because you can have 3/8 inch. thickness.
For transparency, you could use plastics such as acrylic, polycarbonat or lexan but you have to check for their properties specially fireproofing if you need it.
