The site linked below highlights a competition for architecture students to design a low-cost, affordable concrete home design for Habitat for Humanity, the organization dedicated to eliminating substandard housing worldwide. Habitat for Humanity requires "Partner Families" to help build their own home with "sweat equity," and the organization relies on volunteer labor.
You may want to participate in this competition.
