Granted the software packages mentioned in previous posts are quite well known but there are faithful followers of ArrisCAD which has been around since about 1981. For production purposes, this software has proven to be resilient and is specially designed for architectural purposes. Generally, an Autocad user can start using this software in about 4 hours of kicking the tires. It does have 3D capabilities as well.
