Cornell is the most overrated architecture program. All of the graduates I run into are all theory - they have no sense of materials, how to build, how to express tectonics. The program does little to prepare you for the real world. I had a friend who went there and didn't do a real building design until junior year. That's just ridiculous. Plus their facilities are among the worst in the country.
Plus, all it does is snow snow snow there...it's totally depressing b/c it's in the middle of nowhere. If you want to go to school in that area, go to Syracuse, at least it's a big city, and it has a great campus life with great sports. And the architecture program is really really good (no. 4)
