How many years to you want to spend in school? Eventually you have to get a job, and it is a good idea to try to find a job that you enjoy and that you are good at. You need all of the information about architectural practice, even if you only use or practice in part of it. Therefore, schools need to balance their curricula, not narrow-scope them and over emphasis one element.
