How do you propose schools broaden their curriculum to incorporate those other things that are vital to an architecture student's education? There is no possible way, or else you are right. I would go to school the rest of my life to learn EVERYTHING.
Here's my idea. I think that more Architecture Schools should at least require all students to minor in another field. Whether that be Landscape Architecture, Design, Chemistry, Fashin, whatever. The best way to learn about the whole scope of a topic is to take the topic from the point of view from another profession.
Granted, many schools do require a minor before graduation, however those students that get a degree as a B.Arch or B.S. are not always required to. They have other required courses that they have to take instead. If this is the case, some of these required courses should play the same role as having a minor would. It's a rough idea, but in my view, a good one.
