I think your point begs the question of what an architect is, or should be.
Ralph: your points are well taken. There certainly is a dilemma vis-a-vis an employer's expectation. Here we try to be a little more far-sighted....we want to hire people who can think. What you describe could be had in a tech school graduate. We like them too, but we see less long term value. Steve
