My newly constructed straw bale home in southern Colorado has developed some very thin exterior cracks in the stucco after about 9 months. There are also a few hairline interior cracks in the plaster. What has cause these cracks, and are the exterior stucco cracks a concern? Should these be repaired, and how should repair be accomplished? I don't want my bales to get wet or rot, yet I don't want to be constantly patching thin cracks if they are of no concern. Please respond. Thanks
