Please read my web site below that I polished over the past several years. I have tried to educate AIA architects (any architect is responsible for proper designs, ie. AIA Canons 1 & 2) for years and few seem to try to learn or even try to change. Some prefer to argue. Skip the definitions and stop designing communal restrooms. My resume has about 15 employers on it due to my being unable to urinate around others; communal restrooms damaged my career. Now, add another 17 million Americans with the same problem. Having recently bought my own business, I am better able to live a comfortable life away from typical office communal restroom environments. The site paruresis.org also has a forum; read these numerous horror stories of paruresis disabled people damaged by the restroom designs architects are offering them.
