At nearly $150 per sf, London's West End ranks as the world's most costly office market, according to CB Richard Ellis' "2004 Global Market Rents" report, which rates the top 50 office markets. Tokyo's inner central market ranked second at $118/sf, followed by downtown London ($115), Tokyo outer central ($105), and Paris ($94). New York City ($52) and Boston ($44) were the only U.S. cities in the top 50.
