Rainscreen Cladding - Architecture Forum

I would like some advice on the energy effeciency of ceramic granite rainscreen cladding. Any information that you could give on life cycle costing, embodied energy, energy effeciency and maintenance, would be gratefully received. If you know of any particularly good books or websites that may be of use to me, please let me know.
