Retractable roof system - Architecture Forum

Has anyone been involved with the specification and installation of a retractable roof system for a swimming pool. I have a client that has a U-shaped home design and would like to incorporate a retractable roof system that would set on the three U-shaped walls and have a framed end wall with French doors. The home is to be built in Va, so snow loads are a consideration.
Any help would be appreciated and gladly accepted.
