My support, Christopher.

This is just one stance on how much the powers that be disregard intellective agreement, they only dealing in terms they understand, normally reduced to money (even so some would love to have, such knowledge). Buildings like this have fed the creativity and awe not only of architects but of many people, still a fight needs be started to encourage or ensure its preservation. The thing is that when you send soemthing for a clash with the prevalent understanding (for ordinary humans, money being quite equalled to power) whatever you may argue is of no value: this is against prevalent paradigm, money! The true powers have most of the money existing and more things as well, and use money as a tool (a tool is it) to prop their will (not always contrarily to what best). In any case, except you are a wizard in exciting the masses, try to gain in votes the building preservation: lots and lots of people don't care a dime (in such cases, illustrated powers can be of help). More negatively, and this is most times the case of those wanting to preserve physical buildings, money and redevelopment acts always very contrarily to such conservationist, green, friendly environment stances... to extremes such that many times mountain fires, and Neroish building, industrial etc or no and town fires are in fact started to such purpose. Even Jack Lemmon got it! (blessed be him): last week a protected building was demoslished where I live without (of course) any permit ("danger of fall" being argued), today the Palace of the Sports in Madrid has burnt after maybe 40 years use or so...(not of so great value but...) no cause has been given, but many times the fires have these sinister implications.
