I think that it shows the importance of architecture as a discipline which inevitably plans the future that a confusion in society is a confusion for architecture.the use of money in an increasingly oppressive manner which is being displayed, particularly by Britain and the United States, is causing very wide problems.
you are right to say that the fundamental aims and responsibilities of society need to be re-addressed.
the first thing is to define those aims and responsibilities and, bluntly, to hope that people care. Certainly in Britain far too many people find themselves in the position of having done nothing wrong, but they are treated in an oppressive and hostile manner, and told that they have no right to do anything about it.
this happens so widely that many people find themselves almost constantly harassed - the result is an inevitable downturn in the degree of care and consideration shown to others.
how do you design for a society in a downward spiral of alienation ?
