One brazilian engineer has proposed last month to make foundations themselves of steel! comments at the forum can make the thing settle to prefabricated footing foundations... buth this is the kind of move architecture is required to evolve: towards practical and lighter yet satisfactory means of construction. That it needs be design-build is another thing...industrialized would be for my taste a bit more edible.
