FLLW sighting - see alert above.

Whose call? Well, money talks pretty loud, but ultimately a commission I imagine, with the rest of the world looking over their shoulders. Can a building ever have had to carry such personal messages from the past as the new WTC? Or embody so many messages from so many different people for the future? They will be written all over it like invisible graffitti.

Truth is that rebuilding the WTC is a fantastic opportunity, and the significance and impact of the form and direction it takes wil not be seen entirely for many years. I hope the challenge is met. That the commission has a base of broad, eclectic and visionary voices and that those voices are heard. And, speaking for myself, I hope that New Urbanism is off sick in bed with flu the day they vote.
