I am afraid Manuel is correct. There are far too many problems to overcome with chute exitways. Friction, tension under variable weights, angle of deployment (must vary), metering variable additions from multiple floors, fire safety within the chute, suffocation, debris dangers, lack of lateral space available for deployment, etc.,etc. Perhaps your efforts would be better spent in evaluating the current stairwell method and improving upon it.
