I purchased a everex PC also from VCS last May, and on top of that I got the 3 yr.In-Home Warrenty for $99.00, Here its Apr. and wouldn't you know it, it dropped dead. I called the warranty service(NWC Service Corp) only to find that they also went under.NET2 is excepting the warranty. These people are not very nice either, you get some jerk on the line after 3 days to tell you how to fix it, this is the in-home warranty, and you are last on there priority list.Everex will send the parts to you but you better know what you are doing or its going to cost you to get it repaired. My PC died, they send out a Motherboard and a used 800 AMD CPU. I got a friend to help install it and It worked for about 1/2 HR. Called again, waited 3 more days for a response. Told them it stilled didn't work and had to explain to them that the power supply was faulty, and to send another Board, a CPU and a Power Supply, which finally came and we got it up and running.I the mean time they also want a credit card number from you so that if you don't fix it within a certain period of time they will bill the parts to your credit card.Do you know how much these parts cost? this is most of the cost of the PC. Anyway Folks don't ever buy from these people again.. I was new to PS's and after all this I can build on of these things.. Maybe with the help of my friends. this is what I'll do next time.. Sorry about all this but like you all I had to get it off my chest and hopefully warn others ....THANK YOU, BOB HIBBERT
