I had the same problem only I am not sure if motherboard needs to be replaced. I do not have a good recovery disk. Rest button use to work and re-boot but there is no communication from monitor to tower. Had windows 98 I added windows xp a few yrs ago and added ram..came with 128 added 2 more...using roadrunner and everything has been fine.....just quit.
Where can I get a good recovery disk?? Can you make me a copy of yours and would it work?? purchased off computer channel about 1999. Know of any sderv ice centers?? I am in Troy NY by Albany.
