How do I find out who designed and built our home? According to the city directory it was probably built in 1941. I know that it was very unusual for anything to be built in this time because of WW II. The style is very modern. It has ribbon windows and was orginally all of yellow stucco much of which seems to have been painted over in the 50's with pale greens. No wood floors however it also has a floating fireplace. We live very close to LA and the original owner was a petroleum engineer who probably moved into town when some of the big companies moved in, in 1940. What kind of research can I do to find out more? Thanks, Deb
