I don't know if the MacOS version is identical to the Windoze version (some things are quite different), so let me point out that i'm speaking about the PC version only here. No idea about MacOS.
1) Resizeable window. Not only for being able to see more phases at once, but for viewing longer phase names.2) Re-orderable phases. For those of use who are particularly intent on organization, this would be nice. Let's say i'm making a 2-story building, and i have my first 5 phases for the 1st floor, and the second 5 for the 2nd floor. Now what if i decide i want to include 1st floor furniture in its own phase? It gets tacked on after the 2nd floor stuff. It makes navigating within your document less intuitive, which is a shame, since DW is so natural to use, otherwise. If users could drag-and-insert phases to other places on the list, or at the very least, shift them up and down with the arrow keys, it would make keeping large documents clean and navigable much easier.
3) Colors assignable to phases. Yeah, that comes straight out of AutoCAD, but hey, it's a GOOD IDEA. I get a headache looking at some of my models, especially those with repetitive features.
