software, plug-in, etc. to convert dwg files to dxf please

I just received a file on disk to do a rendering for a client which was supposed to be saved as dxf but wasn't - I have nothing that will open the dwg file. Are there any converters available over the net? My search turned up a couple of viewers but nothing to convert. Any help would be appreciated.
