Ken, you say this convincingly that it sounds as though you have proof. Do you? Or is it an opinion?
I truely want to believe that there will be an upgrade. I truely want to believe the words that I have seen roll off Kevin's tongue. It is you and I that have chosen a small private company to buy our software from. With that comes good and bad. We have more personal contact with the pres than we would with say FormZ. However, as a provate comapny Artifice, is not AS compelled to bow to the pressures if the end users (and stockholders). I get doubtful from time to time and I _am _ in one of those stages now too. There is so much I like about DW and many of the things Kevin has done. While he knows what is best for his company as far as a strategy goes it may not be in the best interests of the application's end user (as opposed to people looking for architectural photos, wanting to read an architectural publication, etc.). I have urged attention and direction away from many of these _other_ pursuits until he gets 2.0 or NG done. I am hopeful that these other interests are not getting in the way. I ws just complaining to a colleague the other day that Adobe keeps coming out with Photoshop[ and Illustrator upgrades every 6 months (or so it seems). How nice that would be in this case!
Hey, Ken I want to believe in the worst way that you are wrong. I want to rub it in your face when it comes out and say I told you so. It's just that right now I just don't know whose face is going to be in the pie, yours or mine, but I love apple or cherry just in case. I think we _both_ hope you are wrong and I would like to hear the reasons why you think it will _never_ happen.
