Gary - thanks for you comments. I tried Rendercity and I do like the look of the glass - I just don't have time to play around with it - the project (six houses in all) is do tomorrow. I've made a lot of my own textures - the last thing I want to do is go back and change those. I'll try more interior lights though.
As for the landscaping - SIERRA CUSTOM LAND DESIGNER (Photo Garden Designer in particular) - $39.99. I just bought it this weekend and was thrilled with the results - I thought if it didn't work, I was only out $40.00. There is a large selection of annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees, grounds and more, they can be rotated and skewed and the color can be adjusted. The only problem is that there are not a lot of options for export - well actually there is only one - I think its either 10" x 8" at 150 ppi or 14" x 10" at 72. Well worth it though for the money.
