About changing the working orientation:

Yes, i have tried the arbitrary orientation tool, but with little success. I hide everything but one triangle of the dome, then with it selected, i doubleclick the arbitrary orientation tool. The axes position themselves so the origin is on one of the triangle's vertices, but they are still oriented in the standard x-y-z way. I tried using the faces tool to click on the triangle and then doubleclick the arbitrary icon to get the axes to align with it, but no luck. I also can't rotate the axes by freehand, by clicking on the "handles" (which i can only find by space-jumping) doesn't get me any closer.
Is this a bug, an unimplemented feature, or am i missing something? Please help, anyone?
