Dear Gary,

Thank you for contacting Artifice Support.

Both the Mac and Windows versions of DesignWorkshop Classic and DesignWorkshop Professional support Triangulated DXF export from the Lights and Textures window.

You need the DXF Export file in your DW Plug-ins folder for Triangulated DXF to be an option, but this plug-in is included with both Classic and Professional.

Arcs and circles will be segmented when saved as a 3DMF or DXF file. Upon importing some programs will give the option to smooth these objects.

You are correct that Kevin is the person to answer your question about the development of DesignWorkshop, though I can say the goal is for both platforms to use the same code-base and include all the same features.

Please let us know whenever you have further questions.

Best wishes,

Mike Wheeler
