Compatibility of VRML v1.0 and ProEngineer

Is it possible to convert VRML v1.0 files (WRL files) into a format compatible with ProEngineer (i.e. IBL files)?
Failing this is it possible to convert VRML v1.0 files into a simple series of cross-sections, and if so how could I go about this?
