I would love to run Radiance on my machine and be able to render "locally". However it looks too darn complicated on a Mac. Does anyone know if there are any movements to port it to a Mac? This would have to be third party I think becasue LBL says they will not write it for Mac.

Is it worth trying it with a Windows emulators on a Mac?

I tried looking at MachTen and MkLinux and it seems a bit overwhelming. I would use RenderCity but do not do enough Rad rendering to justify the fee, yet I need custom materials which requires membership. Will OSX, with a bit of UNIX as its core make it any different on a mac?

If anyone who has done this on a Mac would like to elaborate I wouldn't mind listening. I have read Artifice's notes on this too.

Thanks in advance.
