Radiosity is a calculation in shadows that calculate the profundity of the shadows, if you obserb a real object for example in a building the intensity of the shadow in the edge of the shadow is lighter than in the center of the shadow the center is darker, that effect in 3d max doesnt exist.

I hope that you understand whta i mean, my english is no perfect but i try to mke comprensible, if you donīt understand exacly mailme and i will senyou a grafic example
